Workplace Sleep Ambassador Training
Understand the impact of fatigue at work and sleep issues in your workplace, why sleep is important to health and wellbeing, and how tackling issues around sleep can improve productivity.
What is workplace sleep ambassador training?
ScORSA in association with the Sleep Charity will be offering Workplace Sleep Ambassador training.
It is estimated that 40 per cent of employees suffer with sleep issues and around 200,000 working days are lost each year because of insufficient sleep. These sleep issues result in fatigue at work which will impact an employee’s ability to concentrate and to drive safely.
Over the next few months we will be providing the opportunity for ScORSA members to attend a virtual training course which will provide the information required to help tackle workplace fatigue.
The Workplace Sleep Ambassador Programme aims to tackles these issues in the workplace and improve productivity.
What will you achieve?
-
An understanding of the sleep issues in your workplace
-
Measures to improve how your colleagues sleep

The training will consist of 90 minutes of independent study (pre-recorded video to watch) and a two hour live interactive session on zoom. We are pleased to be able to offer one place per organisation to our ScORSA members free of charge.
